Chivalry

    Chivalry took center stage in Arthurian mythology, the code of chivalry was very popular in medieval times. King Arthur and The Knights of The Round Table embody the ideals of chivalry, with the strong protecting those who cant protect themselves and loyalty to god and country. Different characters in the legend fufill differend parts of the ideal of chivalry. With Arthur nobility being beyond question due to the fact that he pulled the sword from the stone, and his bravery and honor were storied. Lancelot, Arthurs right hand man embodied the strength and skill of a knight. He was the most skilled knight ever, and was raised by the Lady of the Lake herself. Most of the stories in the legend revolve around chivalry, beit rescuing a damsel in distress, or questing for the holy grail.
